IFEKU ISLAND The Future of Edo state Tourism
It is no longer news that Edo state is blessed with enormous natural resources and gigantic Natural tourist sites. And Ifeku island is not left out on that list.
IFEKU ISLAND is a destination island located at Etsako Central Local Government of Edo State.
It’s located directly behind Ekperi Udaba, and 30mins drive from Fugar the headquarter of Etsako Central LGA.
The Island is situated on a very large piece of land measured 7km x 17km. It has the historic river niger to its left and river aika to it’s right.
Umanu Elijah said he will be launching a Beach resort at Ifeku island in December which is the first of its kind in Edo state.
This resort is set to create jobs, foster unity among neighboring communities, and boost tourism in Edo state.
Umanu Elijah who is an International filmmaker, PR/Media Guru and Nation builder said he is keen re-branding and developing the Etsako region and Edo state tourism at large.
